We operate a vehicle tracking, maintenance log, and social media platform hosted entirely within South Africa.

• Geographical Information: Province, town, and suburb.
• Vehicle Asset Information: Vehicle make, model, registration number, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
• Maintenance Information: Service history, repair logs, and general vehicle maintenance details.
• User-Generated Media: Vehicle photographs and videos uploaded by you to our social components.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information strictly for the following purposes:

• To create, maintain, and secure your direct user account.
• To generate your digital vehicle garage, maintenance logs, and service history.
• To publish your uploaded vehicle media to the social components of our platform.
• To compile aggregated, anonymized industry and community insights (see Section 5).

3. Data Hosting and Security

Local Hosting: All personal data, vehicle information, and media files are securely hosted on servers located within the Republic of South Africa via Afrihost. Your data does not leave South Africa.

Data Security: We implement strict technical and organizational security measures — including SSL encryption for data in transit and secure database access controls — to protect your VINs, registration details, and personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or theft.

Account Security: Your account is protected by a password managed directly by you. We store passwords using secure encryption (hashing). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

4. Third-Party Interactions and Sharing

We value your privacy and maintain strict boundaries regarding third parties:

• No Social Logins or Third-Party Analytics: We do not use social media account logins (e.g., Google or Facebook login) or tracking tools like Google Analytics. Your browsing habits and account data are not tracked or shared with external advertising networks.
• WhatsApp Sharing: If you choose to share your posts or media via the WhatsApp share button on our site, that interaction is governed directly by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We do not control or accept responsibility for data processed by WhatsApp.
• Strict Opt-In for Third-Party Services: We will never sell, rent, or share your individual personal data or vehicle records with third parties (such as insurance companies, brokers, or personal history check services) without your explicit, affirmative consent. Data will only be shared when you intentionally request a specific action, such as clicking to generate an external report or explicitly requesting a quote.

5. Anonymized and Aggregated Data

We may from time-to-time extract, clean, and combine data from our collective database to share macro-level industry insights, trends, or community statistics with the public or partners. This data is strictly de-identified and aggregated. It is impossible to identify individual users, specific locations, or unique vehicle identifiers (such as VINs or registration numbers) from these insights.

6. Your Rights Under POPIA

Under South African law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request the correction or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, or outdated personal information.
• Object to the processing of your personal information.
• Withdraw your consent at any time for future third-party interactions.
• Lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator.
